Anne Kimble is a textile artist living on Mercer Island, WA. Her ongoing series of embroidered portraits, made with thread on linen, are an exploration of color, memory, and a search for connections between our selves and our surroundings. Her current series, “Visible Mending,” focuses on the structures and experiences that shape us. The goal is to allow these processes to remain visible and vulnerable, to honor and acknowledge the patterns and chaos that make up who we are..
