Erin Power is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores how we experience, shape, and remember our environments. Working across painting, drawing, and works on paper, she begins with direct observation, walking, photographing, and drawing in specific places before translating these experiences into layered, often abstracted compositions. Her work examines the traces of human presence, the effects of weather and time, and the ways light and material shape our perception of both natural and built environments.

In her Reflective Grounds series, featured below, Erin explores water, landscape, and changing light through tactile oil paintings incorporating Dutch metal leaf on wood panel. Across her work, she combines observation with material experimentation to capture the shifting relationships between place, perception, and memory.
Erin’s work has been exhibited throughout the Pacific Northwest and internationally. She welcomes commission inquiries and enjoys developing work in response to specific places, spaces, and ideas.
