Irene Rajagopal

Irene Rajagopal is a classically trained artist living and working on Mercer Island. She is an Elected Artist Member of the American Artists Professional League.

She studied classical oil painting and drawing in Classical Atelier and Flack Drawing Atelier. Her work draws on techniques passed down by the Old Masters, presenting timeless depictions of nature and the human condition.

Irene’s paintings have been exhibited at local galleries and community art centers. Her work won an award at the 24th Annual Pastel 100 Competition, leading to the publication in Pastel magazine.

With a focus on elevating the energy of the spaces her art inhabits, Irene aims to create pieces that resonate deeply with viewers.
