Join us as we celebrate the 51st Anniversary of the MIVAL Junior Art Show!
Awards Ceremony – June 28th 10 AM at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center

I’d love to invite you to be part of the team bringing this year’s 51st Annual MIVAL Junior Art Show to life! This cherished Mercer Island tradition has a long history of supporting young artists in grades K-12 encouraging creative expression, building confidence, and connecting youth with the broader community through public exhibition. Hosted by MIVAL at MICEC, the show runs from June 23rd to August 22nd, 2025, with the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 28th, at 10:00 AM.

The show consistently draws positive feedback from the community. Many volunteers say one of the best parts is hearing the kids talk about their work, what inspired them, what materials they used and how they felt while making it. Once we get kids to participate, many return year after year!
We’re forming a friendly and dependable team of volunteers to help make this year’s show a success.
Please consider signing up for one of the roles below and feel free to share this opportunity with friends, family, or anyone excited about supporting youth and the arts.

Key Dates to Note:
Art Drop-Off & Hanging: Saturday, June 21st, 10:30 – 11:30 AM at MICEC
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, June 28th, 10:00 AM at MICEC
Art Pick-Up: Saturday, August 23rd, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at MICEC

We’re also looking for help with donation procurement, whether that’s prize money, gift cards, art supplies or printing support.
