Featured artist – Mona Pearl Treyball
Mona is an artist in many mediums – watercolor, acrylics, photography, glass, beads, metals, and woods. She likes to explore the dimensions of color and light and find beauty in a moment. A life of service beyond self —Mom, Nurse, Veteran, and Artist, Mona is dedicated to co-creating our world to elevate understanding, reflection, compassion, and wisdom.
Our gallery exhibits contemporary works of both emerging and established artists working in various mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry ceramics, encaustics, fiber arts and photography. We also have unique prints and note cards for all occasions.
The Gallery opened in November 2009 and operates in the spirit of a cooperative, offering members the opportunity to exhibit their work, as well as share ideas, work together, and teach. Our goal is to offer gallery space and visibility for MIVAL members as well as increase awareness and appreciation of the visual arts to the community through classes and demonstrations.
Plan your Visit
Located in mid-town Mercer Island, next to QFC, MIVAL Gallery has become a meeting spot for both artists and patrons. We are a group of about twenty five artists who run the gallery as a cooperative.
MIVAL meetings have art demonstrations and are open to the public!
